Review of October

Just wanted to say well done to everyone this month it has been an incredibly busy month with us playing a grand total of 15 games & with us playing every Friday night CVL apart from this week so we get a well deserved night off.

We currently sit top of 3 divisions out of the 6 we are in & have a club record of 11-3 with 1 to play this Thursday. An amazing level of play has been displayed by all of the players so far 💪

Star team from October is the U12s with 3 wins: 22 - 16 against Windsor Warriors, 26 - 20 against Wolfpack and finally last Friday 30 - 19 against Surrey Rams.

U16s have won their first two league matches: 53 - 48 against Wellington Eagles and a resounding 56 - 34 victory against Wolfpack.

The Queens start the season with two wins: 43 - 38 against Aldworth Darts and 40 - 33 against London Acers.

What's in store for November

Next month it will be even busier, we have 24 games currently booked & we have not yet received the dates for the Buckinghamshire league which starts on the 9th of November. We have not had those dates yet as some teams have not paid their fees yet so we are just waiting until the end of the week to see who is there. This will most likely add at least 1 game per team in the JNR category & some teams 2 games meaning we could play 32 games this month! I am also coaching 4 university games so we affectively have more games coming than we do days.

With this being said, I am aware some players cannot make every game & I am aware that some players are getting 1 game that they know of whilst others are getting 4 that they know of at this moment.

I am a big advocate of players playing up so u10s & u18s especially if there is that interest please let me know, I have already spoken to 1 parent the other day & if there is space, the child is excelling in their own group & we need the help, we can make that happen.

I just want to say to finish that everyone in the club from players, parents, coaches, table officials & committee are doing an incredible job so far & it still baffles me to see how we have gone from organising friendlies in 2023 when we opened our doors & wearing mix matched bibs to now what this club has become. We are now thriving within our region & making waves in the community.

Let's keep locked in for one more month & we can all get a nice rest for Xmas.
