Building Champions from the Ground Up

The Berkshire Kings and Queens Basketball Club are working hard to build a successful Junior Academy, where young players can develop their love for the game and build strong foundations for the future. We run two junior basketball teams, U10s and U12s. Last season, 2025-26, the U10s were crowned champions of the U10s Berkshire CVL and the U12s the champions of the U12A Mixed Berkshire CVL, this after winning the Slough U12s CVL in the 2024/25 season – a fantastic achievement that highlights the talent and dedication within the club.

Our development teams for both girls and boys are open to all abilities. Whether you’re completely new to basketball or have played the game before, we welcome every child who wants to learn and enjoy the game.

Coaching sessions take place on Saturday mornings at Furze Platt Leisure Centre for each age group and additionally on Wednesday evenings at Windsor Boys School for a combined session. All our coaches are fully qualified and DBS checked, ensuring a safe, supportive, and professional environment.

Member can chose to train twice a week and be a team member, but if this is too much, then you can chose to train just once a week and be a team member, or not be a involved in the team games and just be a training member. It's your choice.

Sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, focusing on essential basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, and passing.
