Mens Basketball Teams

The Berkshire Kings basketball teams have started the season in outstanding fashion, showcasing the depth and talent across both of its teams. The Knights finally tipped off their league campaign with a dominant performance against Complete Basketball 2, cruising to an emphatic 70 – 39 victory. From the opening whistle, the Knights displayed sharp teamwork, relentless defense, and impressive shooting accuracy that kept their opponents on the back foot throughout the game. Not to be outdone, the Monarchs were equally impressive the previous week, overpowering the Phantoms in a high-scoring encounter that ended 85 – 71, a  testament to their offensive power on the court. Both teams’ early success reflects the hard work put in during the preseason, as well as the strength of the Berkshire King development system. With such commanding performances both the Knights and Monarchs are poised to make a serious impact in their respective leagues. If these first games are any indication, the coming season promises exciting basketball, and the potential for both teams to challenge for the play-offs. November is a busy month for both teams, the Knights needing to play catch up with a fixture every week, whilst the Monarchs have three fixtures.
