A Big Season Ahead

Hope everyone is doing well, we are 1 week away from official pre-season feels like such a short time period between June and now where we haven't been training in the week and only delivering our weekend sessions!

Our first session back is the 1st of September which is the Queens adults sessions.

Just an FYI we are training over the bank holiday but not the Monday.

Sessions for the season

Just a reminder of what sessions are where (They will be on Spond also)

Starts on the Sept 2nd, u10's Wednesdays 6-7pm at Desborough College and 9-10am at Furze Platt

Starts on the Sept 2nd, u12's Wednesdays also 6-7pm at Desborough College10-11am at Furze Platt

Starts on the Sept 2nd, Queens Juniors Wednesdays 6:15-7:15pm at Furze Platt

Starts on the Sept 2nd, u14's Wednesdays 7pm-8pm at Desborough College and 12-1pm at Furze Platt

Starts on the Sept 7th, u16's Mondays 6:30pm-8pm at Heathfield School and 1-2pm at Furze Platt

Starts on the Sept 3rd, u18's Thursdays 6:30pm-8pm at Heathfield School and 2-3pm at Furze Platt

Starts on the Sept 1st, Queens Valkyries and Phoenix Tuesdays at Heathfield School 7:30-9:30pm and 11am-12pm at Furze Platt

Pre-season camps

We are hoping to run a pre-season camp for all groups. This will depend on a few things. First of all the camp will need to be early or late as I am working Sundays at the moment until the season starts. Will discuss with all groups what works better. It all depends on numbers and how much help I need/if others are available to help. If we cannot do this now, it might be something we do in the Xmas period. This is simply something we want to offer as a way for the guys to get to know each other and start working on the finer details as a group.

Pre-season friendlies

I have been in contact with multiple other clubs regarding friendlies and so far have only managed to book the following:

Queens Juniors vs Windsor Warriors girls 20th September away

Kings Knights vs Yately 3rds 14th September away

Kings Monarchs vs Lion Rockers 21st September Home

A lot of teams are being quite awkward about games as we currently do not know the fixtures/it's only if it's on other the clubs terms so a bit awkward for us as we do not have time to go for an hour to some random venue when there are trainings on that same night.

Kits

Updates to kits is we haven't received the invoice for the player orders for kits yet however we have already paid for lots of spares a month or so ago so that should be with us imminently and we will have enough kits to run to start with between players who already have kits and what spares we have. We are asking every day or so for updates!

A big season ahead and we are all very excited about what's to come so enjoy the last week of summer as from next week we are back in action!
